The holiday season is the perfect time to add some glam to your tablescape. With New Years right around the corner, you can easily create a classic and glamorous winter inspired table using things you already own.
Elevate a white tablecloth by layering fresh greenery and gold accents. I chose gold pinecone branches and scattered them on each side of my floral centerpiece. Although florals are not necessary to create a beautiful table, all white flowers add a little elegance. I chose white roses and hydrangeas and also added several bud vases filled with white flowers into the greenery.
Think outside the box when it comes to details. One of my favorite things to do when planning a tablescape is to “shop” my own home, which led me to the gold glittery bottlebrush trees I added throughout the table. To continue with my gold and white theme, I used vintage brass candlestick holders and added a blue velvet bow to match the sky blue placemats.
For an easy yet elegant table, swap your fancy china for your white dinnerware. A winter wonderland inspired table is the perfect time to dress up simple white dinner plates and linens with touches of sparkles and gold. For each place setting, I used my white Bordello Pinheiro cabbage plates and gold flatware. Sky blue scalloped placemats from Fenwick Fields (which can also double as napkins) added a little pop of color to this white and gold winter inspired table. White napkins monogrammed with a similar icy blue hue completed this look.
New Years Table Tips:
- Add party touches like noisemakers, party crackers and party horn to your table
- Place a miniature bottle of champagne at each tablesetting (and don’t forget the champagne flutes)!
- Add a little extra sparkle by scattering gold ornaments throughout the table
